New Media Artist working in the fields of Sound, Interactive Installations & Performance, Audiovisual & Experimental Film, and Art Direction. His work focuses on the exploration and exploitation of the relationship between humans and computers. Through it he strives to work with themes of identity, the self in the digital age and extended humanism.
Federico started working as a Creative Director, developing concepts, images and videos for different artists. Applying both artistic and technical expertise, he switched his focus to real-time Audiovisual & Experimental development as well as the creation of Interactive Installations. Through his work he has collaborated with various artists like Isaac Soto (mx), Techno Para Dos (mx), Eliangel (ve), Alp Seyrekbasan (tr), Belmar (mx) and Alondra Maynez (mx) and the Korrupt Sound Roster (de).
In the last years Federico's work has been shifting to a more performative aspect, by emphasising a layered and transmediatic work process he seeks to involve the audience more encouraging them to engage in a role as active performers.
He studied Interactive Design in Mexico City and later focused his studies in New Media and Media Spaces in Berlin. His work has been featured in various festivals, events and venues such as Mutek MX+JP 2020, Manifest:IO 2023, ADAF Greece 2024, Casa Patricio (mx), EDC Mexico (2022), Symbiotism 2023, Catalyst, amongst others.
